Cam Ranh Port promotes logistics service development
15/03/2023According to the leader of Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company, this enterprise wishes to promote cooperation and association with production and business enterprises to turn logistics into a service industry that brings added value to all customers and partner.
Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company, a member of Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC), has just held a conference on association and investment promotion with the theme “Linking – Cooperation – Investment in developing logistics services at Cam Ranh Port”.
At the conference on the afternoon of February 27, the invited delegates raised important topics in the orientation of logistics service development at Cam Ranh port such as strengthening management and improving service quality; infrastructure, and technology development; attracting and creating favorable conditions for businesses to participate in the supply chain of logistics services.

The conference on behalf of Cam Ranh port is an opportunity for the port to provide needs and solutions to accompany customers in logistics development associated with sustainable supply chains, improve service quality, promote import and export, and trade, creating linkages and cooperation between the port and production and business enterprises and logistics service providers. In particular, Cam Ranh port will attract and encourage businesses to cooperate with the port to invest in infrastructure.
Within the framework of the Conference, Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company signed many cooperation agreements with partners and customers, such as the cooperation agreement with Vietnam Sugar Joint Stock Company – Vinamilk to provide logistics services at the port such as: loading, unloading, forwarding, storing and transporting goods; cooperation in manufacturing and repairing marine mechanics with Tay Nam Industry Co., Ltd.
In addition, Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company also signed a cooperation agreement with DS PARTNER Co., Ltd. to invest in cold storage at the port; cooperates with New World Logistics Joint Stock Company to provide loading and unloading services, warehousing, and freight transportation to develop logistics service chains in Cam Ranh – Khanh Hoa area.
Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company also reached a cooperation agreement with Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company and Cam Ranh ICD Joint Stock Company to provide a chain of container services at the port; cooperate with Nha Trang University to implement logistics projects, transform businesses and develop human resources.
Cam Ranh Port – a member of Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) is a regional national general port of grade 1 according to the Government’s planning. The port is located in a position with deep water, airtight, wide bay area, located near international maritime routes and connecting roads, railways, and airways.
Up to now, the port has 2 berths with a total operating length of more than 604m, divided into 5 berths capable of receiving ships with a tonnage of up to 50,000 DWT or 70,000 DWT to reduce loading and unloading at the same time.
The port also actively invests in and modernizes facilities such as shore cranes and towboats, and simultaneously expands and upgrades the area of warehouses, cargo storage yards, and many other equipment and tools for loading and unloading.
Currently, all stages of loading and unloading goods from ship to vehicle or warehousing, storage, and vice versa are carried out according to a closed process, to meet the increasing requirements of customers.
