29/03/2022

(Chinhphu.vn) – According to the General Department of Customs, from 1/4, the customs sector changes the colour and style of the costumes in general as well as the costumes dedicated to the anti-trafficking workforce. Besides, there are specific regulations on the characteristic signs of the means of customs patrol, control and supervision (ships, cars) and the position of flags, customs symbols…

Implementing Decree No. 02/ND-CP dated January 7, 2021, of the Government on traditional flags, flags, symbols, customs badges, badges, nameplates, granting of badges, costumes, customs certificates and characteristic signs of means of customs patrol, control and supervision, the customs sector has developed regulations on changes of costumes and means from January 1, 2022.

The “gatekeepers of the economy” change the colours and styles of customs apparel as well as the dress code reserved for the anti-trafficking workforce. Dresses of customs offices in Decree No. 02/2021/ND-CP have many adjustments in style and colour, especially the colour of spring-summer dresses has changed from blue (Decree No. 10/2005/ND-CP) to black blue with the same colour of pants; on the shoulders of the arms of the shirt with customs symbol and there are adjustments in style to facilitate the creation of elegance and neatness in the process of use.

Dresses reserved for anti-trafficking forces are changed to meet the requirements of their duties, ensuring that they demonstrate the majesty and power of crime suppression in the fight against smuggling and illegal transportation of goods (Decree No. 10/2005/ND-CP has not been regulated). The anti-smuggling costumes of the customs forces are quite similar to those of the military and police forces with material designs suitable to the implementation of the tasks; the colours are curvy, easy to hide but specific to customs, not coinciding with other forces; styles are designed in a dynamic and modern way, many pockets, belts to carry support tools, specialized hand tools and equipment…

Regarding the characteristic signs of vehicles patrolling, controlling and supervising customs, for cars patrolling, controlling and supervising customs, the two sides of the car door have the inscription “CUSTOMS” with reflective, loudspeaker, yellow beacon; the customs flag is plugged at the head of the car on the left side of the driver.

According to the leaders of the General Department of Customs, the improvement and production of new costumes will overcome the limitations of the old costumes, make the appearance of customs force costumes more beautiful and better; meet the working requirements of customs forces in the new situation, gradually standardize Vietnamese customs team “professional, transparent, effective”, do not coincide or confuse with the colours with the costumes of some other forces.
